Overview
Einbürgerung ("the App") is a German citizenship test (Einbürgerungstest) preparation app developed by Vinaykumar Pandya. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data the App collects, how it is used, and your rights.
Data Collection
Data Stored on Your Device
The App stores the following data locally on your device only:
- Study progress — current practice position, exam answers, and bookmarked questions
- Exam history — scores and results from completed practice exams
- App preferences — selected German state (Bundesland), theme mode, and other settings
This data is stored using on-device storage (MMKV) and never leaves your device.
Network Requests
The App makes network requests only to download and update the question database from GitHub:
https://github.com/imVinayPandya/einburgerungstest
These requests fetch publicly available question data and version information. No personal data is sent with these requests.
Data We Do NOT Collect
- No personal information (name, email, phone number)
- No location data
- No usage analytics or tracking
- No advertising identifiers
- No cookies
- No third-party analytics or crash reporting SDKs
- No account creation or login required
Third-Party Services
The App does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The only external communication is fetching the public question database as described above.
Data Sharing
We do not share, sell, or transfer any data to third parties. Since no personal data is collected, there is nothing to share.
Data Retention
All App data is stored locally on your device. You can delete all App data at any time by uninstalling the App.
Children's Privacy
The App does not knowingly collect any personal information from children. Since the App collects no personal data from any user, it is safe for users of all ages.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected with an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this document.
